SaferNet Brasil, a non-governmental organization that works to promote human rights on the Internet, is looking for a Ruby On Rails developer to join its IT team. The professional will be responsible for maintaining the software used by the organization, ensuring the proper functioning of the applications and contributing to the continuous development of the projects.

Main responsibilities:

- Systems maintenance: Perform corrective and preventive maintenance of systems developed in Ruby On Rails, identifying and correcting any bugs and performance issues.
- Development of new features: Participate in the development cycle of new features, from design to implementation and testing, ensuring code quality and delivery of features according to established deadlines.
- Performance optimization: Identify opportunities for performance optimization in applications, analyzing and implementing improvements in the code and architecture of the systems.
- Integration with APIs: Develop integrations with third-party APIs for the correct functioning of systems, ensuring data integrity and quality of integrations.
- Technical documentation: Keep the technical documentation of the systems up to date, including the description of features, installation and configuration procedures, and usage guides for internal users.

Requirements:

- Solid development experience with Ruby On Rails, including the use of related libraries and frameworks.
- Experience in Linux environments.
- Desirable knowledge of AWS environments and technologies, such as RDS and S3.
- Database knowledge, preferably MySQL.
- Troubleshooting and bug diagnosis skills.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Desirable knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related areas.

Workplace: 100% Remote.
Workload: 40 hours per week with the possibility of CLT.
