The client is a NASDAQ game development company servicing build projects for its end client who has a portfolio of many different and popular game products. The ideal candidate is a go-getter and an enthusiastic problem solver eager to learn about development in a gaming context.
Our company is a team of more than 60 software engineers, designers, and makers that have been working together for over 10 years to build scalable tech solutions for companies in North America and Europe.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Ruby applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop new features
- Identify and address programming errors and bugs
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- Strong background in Ruby
- Must know how to write/use APIs and manage databases
- Cloud knowledge is a plus
- Must be available to work from 9 to 5 central time
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Advanced English
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or relevant field
