- You will manage two Frontend development teams that build our BugSnag Dashboard
- Work with highly performing teams using modern practices and technologies
- Teams are working on codebases developed in TypeScript/React and Ruby on Rails
- Take a proactive approach to improving the entire software development life-cycle.
- Leverage Agile best practices to manage the delivery of software through continuous deployment, integration and automated testing.
- Coach and grow your engineers to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, building relationships to deliver on company goals.
- Work effectively with product managers, engineers and leadership to grow your team and most effectively meet aggressive business outcomes.
- Determine processes and metrics to ensure products are market ready.
- Cultivate a culture of curiosity, ingenuity, partnership, speed, innovation and excellence while continuously elevating quality.
- Writing code is not required, but you must be able to evaluate your engineers talent/output.
- 3+ years managing agile software development teams
- Experience in SaaS based company with a multi-site teams preferred
- Frontend software development experience and ability to coach others
- Knowledge and experience with cloud technologies
- Current experience using Agile methodologies
- Proven experience leading multiple scrum teams during the entire software development life-cycle
- Ability to turn high level requirements into actionable plans with projected target dates
