About the role
Our development team is searching for an experienced Backend Software Developer (Ruby) to join the Financeit team and to help our company in pursuit of our vision and goals! We are looking for developers who value continuous learning and development, collaboration with the team, and of course the quality of their code. Often our toolset will change and grow depending on the nature of the business requirements and the problem being solved, and we encourage all our developers to actively investigate new technologies and approaches to help us evolve our stack.
What you’ll do:
- Designing and writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Delivering new features, fixing defects, and improving the existing codebase.
- Working closely with other Developers, Product Managers, Designers, Testers and Business Stakeholders to understand requirements and develop high quality solutions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails (RoR) or similar modern frameworks.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Redis, MySQL, or other similar persistence technologies.
- Curiosity and excitement about technology and continuous learning and development.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Desire to deliver work in an agile environment.
