How We Code

We aim to be as vanilla Ruby on Rails as possible, with minimal JS and extensive testing. We aim to have an absolute minimum of meetings, with almost all communication async. We want a standardised code base that is easy to understand and refactor. We ruthlessly cut scope if required.
We Don’t:
  • Have daily standups (we do async checkins in slack instead)
  • Have a separate QA team (you’ll need to be confident your code works before you push)
  • Do customer support (our CS team used to work at Basecamp and they’re amazing)
  • Do crunch time (we prefer to cut scope)
