We’re looking for a self-starter, who is communication-focused with a deep sense of ownership and a team mentality to collaborate on building the best applications to serve our clients. 
As a senior Ruby engineer, you will be working on banking applications for account opening and online banking, generating documentation, providing input on architecture for new products, exposing APIs for front-end applications, and delivering webhooks. You will be responsible for providing coding estimates and delivering high quality, tested code. This is mostly a back-end focused job but some front-end work will be available in React.
What You’ll be working on:
  • Creating REST APIs
  • HTTP (headers, response codes, certificates, CORS, etc)
  • GitHub and GitFlow
  • Some containerization (Running Docker locally)
  • Monitoring and debugging production issues
  • Designing highly available systems with disaster recovery in mind
  • Documenting your processes and sharing knowledge
  • Additional duties and projects as required.
What we are looking for:
  • 5 yrs or more Software Development in Ruby and more specifically Ruby on Rails
  • Fintech and/or banking experience is highly beneficial but not required.
  • Postgres experience a plus
