Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Product Engineering Department, which operates under the Scrum Agile development framework. Our team utilizes a range of technologies, including Vue, React Native, and Ruby, to deliver exceptional software products. While we value proficiency across the entire software stack, we are particularly interested in candidates with a strong front-end focus who are comfortable venturing into full-stack development when required.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our cutting-edge software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs.
A Day In The Life:
- Develop and maintain robust and scalable software solutions using Vue, React Native, and Ruby.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure the quality and performance of the codebase.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues promptly.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time and with the highest quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript based coding framework, preferably Vue, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Solid understanding of front-end development principles, including responsive design, UI/UX best practices, and browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with back-end development and experience working with databases and API integrations.
- Experience working within an Agile development environment, preferably using Scrum.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
