Your Future Team 
From deep in the trenches of Banking to the edges of services, Ruby & Go are used across multiple teams in Solaris. You will work in one of these teams:
Identity - Identity teams provide compliant KYC infrastructure and processes for Businesses and Consumers.
Anti-Financial Fraud & Crime (AFC) – AFC Teams provide infrastructure to ensure compliance with AFC regulations and secure banking services throughout the user journey.
Your Role
As a Ruby Staff Engineer you will:
  • Build and maintain our company's Banking as a service product and breakdown complex problems into projects
  • Take end-to-end ownership of our fleet of microservices and support the team in fulfilling their delivery commitments
  • Estimate and design technical solutions that fit Solaris regulatory, compliance and technical requirements
  • Support your team and ensure your team has an architecture and tech vision which is aligned with the global architecture
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers, product owners and engineering managers
  • Ensure a bi-directional flow of information between your team and the tech-wide organization
  • Contribute to Solaris’ infrastructure and automation tools

  • You are proactive and an autonomous developer
  • You are a Ruby/Go expert with proven hands on experience of either of the tech and willing to learn the other
  • You have experience with Cloud platform tools like AWS or are willing to learn
  • You have wide experience building API’s and microservices
  • You worked closely with product and can translate tech topics to a business audience
  • You are comfortable working with Cloud CI/CD tooling (quality, delivery, testing)
  • You are comfortable working with agile workflows and lean product development principles
  • You are a curious, constant learner and share your learnings with others
  • You know how to keep a work-life balance
  • You communicate well in written and verbal English
  • You are an experience interviewer in your past role
