Uptime.com, a leader in website monitoring solutions, is seeking a talented and motivated Growth Product Engineer to join our remote team. As a Growth Product Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our company by applying your technical expertise and strategic mindset. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and product teams to optimize our products and develop innovative strategies for customer acquisition and retention. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a dynamic and fast-paced organization.
Responsibilities:
  1. Product Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement by analyzing data and conducting user research.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to optimize user acquisition, retention, and monetization.
  • Design and execute A/B tests to improve key product metrics and user experience.
Engineering Excellence:
  • Develop and maintain scalable systems and infrastructure to support growth initiatives.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to prioritize and implement product enhancements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Strategic Thinking:
  • Conceptualize and implement growth strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Translate customer needs and market trends into actionable product features and enhancements.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify differentiation opportunities.
Data Analysis:
  • Analyze user data to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Monitor and report on key product metrics and KPIs related to growth initiatives.
Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams on go-to-market strategies and product launches.
  • Work closely with the customer support team to gather feedback and improve the customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in software engineering, with experience in frontend and backend development.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
  • Experience with data analysis, A/B testing, and optimization.
  • Understanding of user acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
  • Experience with growth hacking and product optimization in a SaaS or technology company is a plus.
