This individual in this role is responsible for developing new and exciting products for KnowBe4’s customers, alongside other engineers in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Develops software using the KnowBe4 Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methodologies
  • Provides a technical contribution to projects
Requirements:
  • BS or equivalent plus 3 years experience
  • MS/Ph.D. or equivalent plus no experience
  • Understanding of Ruby and Rails (Prefered)  or Python based web frameworks (FastApi, Flask, Django)
  • Experience with modern Javascript (ES6, Babel, Typescript)
  • Built applications with current and forward-facing web standards like CSS3 and HTML5
  • Sees the business value in delivering snappy high quality reports, using web technologies, highcharts, d3.js
  • Understanding of SPA frameworks (VueJS, React, Angular, Svelte(bonus))
  • Able to leverage structured formats like JSON, YAML, GraphQL and related technologies to build scalable, testable applications in docker and other tools.
  • Experience with common SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Understanding of foundational machine learning concepts is plus
  • Understanding of data engineering concepts and tools, etl, spark, parquet, delta lake
  • Used automated unit testing tools such as RSpec, Jest, Pytest
  • Great communicator and team player, ready to take on a challenge
  • Creativity, initiative and acute attention to detail
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
