Middle Ruby Developer

We are currently looking for a Middle Ruby Developer to join our client, Marketplace Technologies security team.

The purpose of the team is to take care of technical security and privacy implementations spanning the marketplace. You will be researching, discovering, implementing and maintaining critical security projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and test systems to improve the security and privacy landscape.
• Own Identity Access Management, Authentication and Authorisation features and services.
• Cooperate with stakeholders from Security and Privacy and other domain teams to design and build scalable security solutions.
• Consult Marketplace engineers on the integration and operation of security and privacy features.
• Monitor and ensure the reliability of your code.
• Work on bot prevention and mitigation.
• Introduce the means to secure communication by standardizing encryption.
• React to and manage vulnerabilities and security risks.

Requirements:

• You have at least 3 years of hands-on work experience in development or operations at scale.
• You are a great communicator who can talk in detail about complicated topics.
• You are capable and willing to master new technologies and concepts.
• You are knowledgeable in most and have a deep understanding of some of the following disciplines: Software Engineering, Data Structures, Algorithms, Web Development, Systems Programming, Distributed Systems, Systems Architecture, Computer Science.
