Why now?
A new generation of investors is emerging: ambitious, involved workforce. Money is no longer taboo and the pension system is under tremendous pressure. At Finary, we see a world where investing empowers everybody to live the life they’ve always dreamt off. Finary exists to revolutionize the personal money management experience.
To fuel this mission, we raised 15M€ and are backed by leading investors like Y Combinator and Speedinvest. We are also backed by world-class founders like Steve Anavi & Alexandre Prot (Qonto founders), Matthieu Rouif (Photoroom) or Eric Demuth (CEO Bitpanda). We also smashed the European crowdfunding speed record by raising 2.2M€ from our community in less than 20 minutes.

Engineering at Finary
At Finary, we live and breathe Product and Engineering. Our mantra: shipping the minimum lovable product. We build delightful experiences that significantly improve the financial well-being of our users while moving at high speed.
For that, we break complex problems down into small items, ship and iterate constantly. Our community loves that and provides us with valuable feedback as we polish Finary.
We believe the best products are a healthy mix of user research, analytics and gut feeling. Talking to users & digging into analytics is part of our DNA. We don’t shy away from making bold bets and venturing into new unexplored territories.
Our engineering team is dedicated to making this ambition real. We build resilient, scalable, word-class technology while always staying pragmatic and focused on shipping efficiently.

About the role
Your manager will be Julien, our CTO
Your mission is to lead the engineering team, driving product development and innovation.
You will:
- Establish technical strategy, set engineering goals, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Your responsibilities include managing software development cycles, overseeing quality assurance, and maintaining high coding standards.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent while fostering a collaborative culture.
- Ensure projects are delivered timely, manage budgets, and coordinate with other departments.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance product capabilities and scalability.
Effective communication with stakeholders and continuous improvement of engineering processes is crucial.
You’d be a great fit if you
- Are a team player, are humble, and like to help others grow
- are genuinely friendly and ambitious
- like to take initiative and find new creative solutions to problems
- are an excellent communicator and know how to coordinate teams, collect feedback and identify bottlenecks
- 5+ years in an engineering role in product-driven organizations
- have a track record in mobile-first products
- have an excellent eye for aesthetics, layouts, fonts, and what makes a lovable product
- are fluent in English (written and spoken)
- break down big projects into small deliverables, well-presented to engineers, and move fast based on user feedback. You prefer small solutions and know when to improve something.
Bonus points if you
- Are comfortable with product analytics (Amplitude is a plus)
- Are passionate about personal finance & investing
- Have experience in fintech
