Key Responsibilities
  • Work with software development teams to understand product specifications, features, and functionality.
  • Analyze and identify suitable opportunities for test automation.
  • Develop automation components/modules using appropriate tools and programming languages.
  • Execute and manage automated test scripts/cases, logging and addressing identified issues.
  • Monitor automated tests and test results to identify and report on defects.
  • Integrate test automation with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery.
  • Be an active participant in program increment (PI) planning, supporting test automation solution planning and estimation.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 6 year's experience as an automated test engineer with programming skills in common languages, such as Java and Ruby.
  • Experience designing, creating and executing automated tests via scripts using tools such as Selenium and Cucumber, Cypress is a plus.
  • Experience in prioritizing test cases for critical features, create test scenarios & execution plans, and document automated test processes. 
  • Experience with the software development life cycle and automated testingExperience with API testing.
  • Clear understanding of QA Best Practices Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®). 
  • Must live in the Continental US.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Depending on government agency, specific requirements may include residency, citizenship, Public Trust background checks, or security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Past development experience, specifically web application development.
  • Experience at CMS or in the healthcare industry.
  • Previous public sector consulting experience and understanding customer needs.
  • 508 compliance experience.
  • Experience conducting automation tools analysis, selection, and recommendation.
  • Experience developing automation frameworks that are leveraged across multiple projects / resources.
Salary range: $115,000 - $145,000 per-year-salary
The likely salary range for this position is $115,000-$145,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
