The Position
CallRail is looking for a Backend (Server-Side) Engineer to join our Integrations Team. The Integrations product is a core part of our business and is responsible for integrating with numerous business partners such as Google Ads, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc...
What You'll Do
- Build and Maintain Integrations. It’s what we do best! You will be part of the core team that owns this domain within our platform and you’ll be part of the team that helps build and grow it over time.
- Be a valuable part of the team. You will bring your core development skills and your experience in the server side domain building or scaling an engineering product.
- Communicate well. You will explain your work clearly to team members, and seek feedback to build a code base we all enjoy contributing to.
- Be a good teammate. You will be helpful, open-minded, respectful, and collaborative. You will be working in a team, not in isolation. You will have a chance to build great relationships with the people you work with.
- Learn. Regardless of your level of experience or seniority, you willl work to improve your skills and learn more about our customers and their needs.
What You'll Need
- Experience with the following would be helpful:
- Building web applications with Ruby on Rails
- Designing and building production level code
- Writing good tests
- Being part of a collaborative engineering team and making technical design decisions
- Technologies and Tools we use:
- Ruby, Rails, Sidekiq, and Rspec
- Angular, Javascript, Typescript
- Postgres, Redis, and Elasticsearch
- Twilio and other telephony providers
