Ruby on Rails Full stack Developer for Private Shopify App On-going Project

We are a Canadian-based company looking for a talented Ruby on Rails developer to join our team and contribute to an exciting ongoing project. Our application is a custom Shopify app built with Ruby on Rails, which has been live for 1.5 years. This private app integrates with the Shopify Subscription API to manage client subscriptions efficiently for a specific customer.

Join our dynamic team and work on a bespoke Shopify app developed in Ruby on Rails that's making a significant impact for our private customer. You'll have the chance to contribute to our defined backlog and help shape the future of our product roadmap, all while working on a specialized e-commerce solution.

- We are primarily seeking a full-time developer for this role.
- However, we are open to part-time arrangements for exceptional candidates.

- Develop and maintain the back-end of our custom Ruby on Rails Shopify app
- Collaborate with our existing team to implement new features and improve functionality
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to our technical decision-making process
- Debug and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Ensure the app continues to meet the specific needs of our private customer

- Expert-level proficiency in Ruby on Rails
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
- Familiarity with Shopify app development and the Shopify API
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

- Previous experience developing private Shopify apps
- Front-end development skills using Vue.js, HTML, and Bootstrap
- Understanding of e-commerce and subscription-based business models
