ABOUT THE JOB
Flatirons seeks a senior full-stack engineer strong in Node.js and Ruby on Rails to join our close-knit but growing team. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and cares greatly about the quality of the experiences they create. This position involves interacting with U.S.-based clients, so your English level must meet this standard (B2+). This is a full-time, 40-hour/week remote role, and candidates must be available to work Eastern Standard Time.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Building applications for innovative companies in the U.S.
  • Interacting directly with U.S.-based clients
  • Collaborating with PMs, QA, designers, and other engineers to ensure we deliver high-quality products in a timely manner
  • Contributing to the growing culture of a team that is building high-quality, impactful software
  • Creating maintainable code using reliable programming practices
  • Conducting code reviews for your teammates

ABOUT YOU
  • You live in Latin America
  • You have 6+ years of professional experience in Ruby and/or Node.js technologies
  • You have strong English skills (both written and spoken)
  • You are passionate about well-functioning software products
  • You have experience working with design tools such as Figma
