What You Will Do
- Help distill the core interactions a customer of Finch will need to be successful in using our product, from the homepage, to the developer dashboard, to documentation centers and SDKs
- Ship code that improves the developer experience, including the homepage, developer dashboard, Connect, SDKs, and the documentation center
- Build frontend and backend components that improve the Finch integration experience
- Commit on your first day, and deploy code continuously
- Support developers at customer companies
- Work with our product ops, design, and sales teams
- Communicate ideas and specifications through detailed, precise writing
- Influence the culture, values, and processes of a growing engineering team
Who You Are
- Experience with modern programming languages like Javascript, Ruby, Python, Elixir, Go, etc.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, Elm, Vue, etc.
- Have a strong demonstrated ability to ship high-quality products, both at work and outside of work. We love engineers that build side-projects or contribute to open-source repos
- A passion for trying out APIs and a taste for good developer experience
- Able to think through customer requirements and prioritize what is a must-have, nice-to-have, or irrelevant
- Have a strong technical skillset but also the willingness and ability to take over tasks outside your core competency
