As a Rails engineer, you will have an opportunity to make an impact on many aspects of our product
- Play a key role in the design, implementation and integration of product features.
- Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity.
- Test, deploy, maintain and improve ML models/infrastructure and software that uses these models
- Help to define and improve our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment.
- At least 3 years of proven working experience with Ruby / Rails
- Experience in write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Experience in write APIs (REST)
- Familiarity with TDD (RSpec)
- Database (Postgres) knowledge
- Good communication skills to work with a team
- Will take ownership and has accountability
- Embrace technical challenges with a continuous eagerness to learn and create new things
- Eligible to work in Europe
- available to work from 09-15:00 (CET)
Nice to have
- Experience with Grape and Sidekiq
- Working experience on performance optimization - application monitoring, profiling, improvements implementation
- Experience with deployment and other dev-ops configurations with technologies like Heroku, Docker and/or AWS services such as S3, EC2, etc.
- We don't have Ninjas or Superhero but a great company with people from 24+ different countries
- Flat structure with people that help each other and work for a common goal
- Code with 92% coverage and the latest Rails version
- 2-4 trips a year to meet in person with your team
