We are looking for a versatile Cloud Engineer who can help to design and develop next-generation enterprise software products leading teams of engineers, QA, and DevOps. This role involves hands-on designing, coding and working closely with CXOs at fast-paced startups. This is an engineering role with a high degree of ownership and autonomy
Requirements
- Review and code application development and coding workflow with a team of software engineers who build and run a suite of applications built on modern cloud technologies (streaming, data science, analytics, Kubernetes, AI/ML)
- Hands on with Design, Develop and can implement technical code to build and deploy AWS/GCP implications.
- Identify and introduce new services, products, or applications that help us to automate operation
- Assess products and technologies with the best Industry practices to optimize internal processes and workflows
- Develop and drive long-term strategies and roadmaps aligning with business priorities in partnership with the Product Management team
- Collaborate with teams within learn about opportunities to increase efficiency through automation, self-service, or simplification
- Use instrumentation, data and analytics to inform and drive new feature development
- Work with a global team, creating solutions that will be used by customers at massive scale.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience programming using Ruby, Java, Python, Go, C/C++, Rust or equivalent
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in a lead engineering role, working with a diverse & distributed team.
- Good understanding on configuration management systems (Chef, Ansible, Terraform) with Cloud Platforms in a SaaS environment.
- Have experience building & running modern full-stack cloud applications using public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience on any rdbms database like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL
- Experience with software build and release tools like Jenkins, Rundeck, Azure DevOps or equivalent
- Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, AKS or equivalent
- Experience with source control using Git with a solid foundation of branch strategies
- Experience with Unit and Integration Testing
- Has effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated problems across levels of the organization & customers
- Experience with Agile methodologies, software design lifecycle and design patters.
- Detail oriented to identify and rectify errors in code or product development workflow
- You’re willing to learn various new technologies and concepts. The “cloud-native” field of software is evolving fast and you’ll need to quickly learn new technologies as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
