Software Engineer (Full Stack)

SamCart is looking for an innovative, dedicated, and experienced Software Engineer to join our growing Software Engineering team. In this role, you will design, implement, test, and release new features. Using modern tools and methodologies, you will leverage deep technical knowledge to ensure simplicity, changeability, and longevity in our codebases.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy features across the application stack.
- Follow best practices like test-driven development, refactoring, and simple design.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and testers to ensure features achieve business goals and meet usability and experience standards.
- Pair effectively with other engineers to deliver high-quality code.
- Author technical documentation for workflows and processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in full-stack software development leveraging front end frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.) and back-end frameworks (Go, Laravel, Ruby on Rails, etc.)
- Expert knowledge of multiple object-oriented programming languages (PHP, Python, JavaScript, Java, Ruby, etc.)
- Experience at an early stage startup or other high paced environment preferred
- Experience developing and deploying software in a containerized environment.
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience building software applications leveraging web application frameworks.

The US salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$140,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for during the hiring process.
