Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using Ruby on Rails
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
  • Conduct tests and implement test-driven development
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advances in web technologies

Requirements

  • What we’re looking for:  
    • 7+ years experience in software development, including work on a consumer-facing app with tens of thousands of users 
    • Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails  
    • Experience with React, Svelte, Vue, or another component-based JavaScript framework 
    • Expertise in designing and building cloud-native architectures on Heroku (or similar)  
    • Strong API integration experience 
    • Passion for creating truly delightful experiences  

  • Nice to haves:  
    • Experience with Salesforce development or APIs 
    • Experience with document (PDFs, images) reading/data extraction 
    • Experience within regulated industries like Legal, Healthcare (HIPAA compliance), and/or Fintech  
    • Keen interest in generative AI and its potential applications, both internal and consumer-facing
